Sabah is one of the states of Malaysia that is located in East Malaysia. It is the most tip and northern part of Borneo. Sabah consists of a few major towns namely, Kota Kinabalu (the capital of Sabah), Tawau, Kudat, and Sandakan.
Sabah has an equatorial climate with tropical rainforests which means it’s hot all year long with a splash of rain during the monsoon season. Sabah is well-known or its majestic and glorious Mount Kinabalu, which happens to be one of the top 10 highest mountains in the world. Also, Sabah’s Kinabatangan River is the second longest river in Malaysia that runs through Sabah.
Sabah is diversed in ethnicity, culture, and language as well. With that being said, Sabah celebrates all sorts of cultural festivals such as the Japanese Bon Odori Festival, Borneo Eco Film Festival, KK Jazz Festival, Sabah Dragon Boat Festival and the one and only Kaamatan festival aka the Harvest Festival.
